Seoul Galbi Korean BBQ: A Flavorful Journey into Korean Barbeque

The waiter was very helpful. We are grateful for his service. However we were disappointed that the amount of lettuce (which is part of eating meat dishes in Korea) has been limited to one basket. We were informed of this restriction immediately after asking for the first one. They hadn't brought lettuce before either, but they used to fulfill our requests to bring it without a limit.

This place is a neighborhood gem for Korean food. Their food is actually very tasty and fresh. Although their Korean BBQ meats are all pretty good, I think they make an exceptionally good kalbi (marinated short ribs) if you're in the mood for grilling at the table. However, their best dish is Yook Gae Jang - a spicy beef broth with shredded brisket meat and some vegetables. It's so hearty and delicious! Perfect to warm up the soul during the colder months! Not only is it their best dish, it is the best Yook Gae Jang in all of Bergen County imo! Anyway, you can't go wrong with any of their food choices here. All fresh and quite tasty. Parking lot is pretty big, and the restaurant is clean but dated. And there is a cold draft in some areas of the restaurant because of all the vents that suck out the smoke. Service is fast and attentive, but the language barrier limits an enhanced service experience. But I've always found their service to be just good enough for me. And prices are fair and they give you lots of side dishes/appetizers with your meal. Oh, and ask for hot tea and they will give you a cup of Korean corn/barley tea which you'll enjoy! Absolutely great experience with this restaurant. Very clean inside, inside nothing much to see as for as design, what’s there to see is definitely the fact there is a lot of food where it cooks right in front of you. Now that is cool. Food was just absolutely delicious and something I couldn’t stop eating, all the dishes that came with it such as Kimchi, bean sprouts, etc, was just perfect. Service was wonderful, such kind and amazing staff who are there to take care of you in case you have any concerns at all and make sure you have the best experience in the restaurant. Atmosphere felt nice, TV had channels that were actually from South Korea itself. Signs were all texted in Korean. Definitely a restaurant I gotta go back to for some amazing Korean BBQ food.

We had such a wonderful time! The food was amazing, as well as the service. The people were very kind and took good care of us in serving so many different kinds of dishes. Totally recommended!

A casual dining place offering decent Korean food at reasonable prices. If you don’t feel like traveling to Palisades Park or Fort Lee, this is a good choice.

Great Korean BBQ and buffet place. The food was pretty good. Keep in mind that this review is only for the buffet, we did not order BBQ that day. My wife and I stopped by Friday. The staff were cordial and friendly but they weren't prepared, the service was a bit chaotic, unorganized. The food is diverse, plenty and tasty. They had a wide array of vegetarian fare, lots of fruits, as well as a huge meat selection. The price for the buffet was pretty decent. I would have given it a 5 star if they had a better system, perhaps in a few more weeks they'll get the hang of it. We would like to go back and check out their BBQ.

I've been coming here for over a year now and am always met with such hospitality. They have great staff and are always very kind and helpful. The food is always delicious and melts in your mouth. I always look forward to come here!

Amazing place... honestly not sure why it’s not already rated 5 stars!!!! The food is incredibly fresh, clean, and flavorful. You come here for real Korean comfort food that makes you feel good after. The customer service is always warm and welcoming. My boyfriend and I come here every weekend religiously, and no matter how much I eat, I always leave feeling satisfied and healthy. Absolutely love this spot! This beats any mainstream restaurant in nyc - this is coming from a new yorker nativeeee!!!
